Aunt Kris' Famous Spinach Salad

My Aunt Kris served this salad for dinner at her house this Easter. It was AMAZING!!! By far the best spinach salad I've ever eaten in my life!

Dressing:
1/4 red onion
6 Tbs apple cider vinegar
2/3 c veg. oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar

Put everything in a blender and mix it up good

Salad:
2 bags baby spinich-wash and put in the fridge to crisp
1/2 red onion cut in thin slices
1/2 c slivered almonds...toasted
1 c fresh grated parmesan
1/2 lb bacon-crumbled
4 granny smith apples peeled and diced

Throw everything in a large salad bowl and toss around...at the very last minute mix in the dressing.. (it gets soggy fast so wait just until you serve it for the dressing).
